In 2004, 911黑料网 instituted a rigorous academic program review process. Faculty in each of our academic majors participate in this process, which calls for internal and external assessment every seven years. Each year 2-3 programs are reviewed. The results of assessments undertaken for the review and the recommendations for improvement are reviewed by the department faculty and administration.

In addition to this cycle of review, programs and departments complete yearly Action Plans which relate back to the Strategic Planning Goals of 911黑料网.

Externally Mandated Reviews

Three of our programs undergo external review processes, which either replace or supplement the internal program review described above:

• Our Education major and licensure programs are reviewed by the to ensure they are meeting significant state-mandated policies and procedures as DESE-approved .
• Our Business Administration major undergoes by the , which periodically undertakes system-wide reviews of academic programs in certain disciplines across all state and community colleges and University of Massachusetts campuses.

Review of Administrative Units

Program review is not exclusive to academic programs. It has also been practiced by our Student Affairs division, our Information Technology services, and Facilities operations.
